I really like that beepy melody in the background. Throwing in that echo-y piano is also a nice touch. I also like that jingle-y chain-like sound. Its piercing, but not so much that it's distracting since the other mellow tones of the song compliment it well. Great song in my opinion. ^_^

This sounds really trippy. O_O I really like the chime-y rhythm; it makes me think of so many different game soundtracks. Mainly rayman music, but that "synthetic voice?" sound reminds me of the shadow queen theme from paper mario and the thousand year door...i know, that sounds random, but I wanted to mention it. :)

If you got "trippy" from this, than the experiment worked. Tried to replicate what music sounds like on K. Thanks a lot for the review!

This is an interesting song. I would just like to ask about a particular sound effect that pops in every so often. It kind of sounds like...maybe a rattling chain or a metalic click? It's a little piercing compared to the rest of the song. I don't know if that is due to it's volume or just the kind of sound it is, but it makes me wary of putting on earphones. ^_^;

I really like this song. That constant fluttery buzz is really nice, and is nicely complimented by the louder sine notes and beat. ^_^ I agree that it sounds like night-time music as well. :)

Thank you so much! :) I'm glad you like it. Thanks for detailing what you like, too. Useful reviews are the best reviews :D

I really love this choir! It sounds like a track you would hear inside a chapel or church. It makes me think of a room with rays of light shining through stain glass windows reflecting beautiful colors all around. Ah, very nice, is this kind of setting what this song was made for? :)

SoundChris responds:

Thanks a lot man! Sorry for the late reply. Things have been quite busy here (new job, serious illnes and other not so cool things) so it seems i have overseen your very kind review. Your description fits very well to the scenery it was meant for. The track is played in the elder scrolls oblivion mod rathunas in the priory of the goddess Kynareth. There also is another track that i have made especially for the shrine where you can hear the goddess whisper to her visitors.

Thanks a lot for leaving your thoughts here and all the best!

This is a nice mellow song. It's a little repetitive but I know how that can be as I do the same thing a lot. :) Something I find a little odd is how the... (is that a guitar sound in the beginning?) anyway, the "guitar" sound and the beat in the background sound a little mechanical compared to the brass instrument that jumps in every so often. It's an interesting contrast, and it works well enough. It just sounds different to me. ^_^

This song is so adorable to me! I like the bouncy rhythm and upbeat tone it has. It has a Super Mario feel to me for some reason as well especially with those chiming bell like sounds interspersed here and there. I really like it; I’m bobbing my head with the song as I’m typing this lol. ^_^

iamjuneyoung responds:

so thanks.

This song is really pretty! ^_^ I love how the piano starts out in the beginning with those mellow tones. I am wondering though if you recorded the piano parts separate of the accompaniment? I only ask since it sounds so different/”synth-y” compared to the piano parts of the melody. They blend better together as the song goes on though. :) All around great piece in my opinion, especially if this isn’t your usual style. :D

Azhthar responds:

Hmmm strange... It´s actually the same piano all the time and not a synth actually. Maybe it sounds a bit like that because I used very tough compression and at the beginning the notes are played very mellow and soft, so they would be much more quiet without the compression... I should have a look at this ;) Glad you like it!

This song makes me think of so many different games, with megaman being the main one for some reason. It also does kind of sound like an airplane fight, or like fighter pilots battling it out "retro" style. :) I notice that the beat pattern kind of changes a lot as well, with the change blending sometimes, and sometimes not. Was that on purpose? It sounds fancy. ^_^

As I am one for slow start ups when I make songs, I like how the beginning of this song kind of starts of “muggy” and gets clearer, kind of like you would imagine a machine starting up. I also really like how the heavy drum beat compliments the light “beepy” notes, like how the heavy motions of a machine might compliment its more detailed movements. That fluttery ending is a nice touch too. Overall I really enjoyed listening. ^_^

Just as I enjoyed reading this review. :) Thank you!

I like music, dragons and occasionally slapping them together :3
